Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday's much awaited romantic drama Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri finally hit the big screens on the auspicious ocassion of Christmas today. So far, the film is making headlines for eviking the nostalgia factor with beats of Saat Samundar Paar. However, upon the movie's release, a new clip from the film has surfaced online showing Kartik dancing to Salman Khan’s iconic Saajanji Ghar Aaye, and the internet is far from impressed. The film quickly saw multiple scenes and songs making their way onto social media. One such video features Kartik making a grand entry at a function while grooving to Saajanji Ghar Aaye, the popular track from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai originally picturised on Salman Khan and Kajol. The reactions were largely critical, with many users expressing disappointment and stating that Kartik failed to recreate the charm and swagger associated with Salman. Several comments accused the film of unnecessarily remixing or reusing iconic songs, calling the trend tiring and unoriginal.

Comments ranged from calling the version “worst” to declaring Salman “unmatched and irreplaceable,” with some users even suggesting that Bollywood legends should hold copyrights over their classic hits. Many reiterated that Salman Khan’s screen presence and style could not be replicated.One of the fans asked, "Kya Zarurat thi?" another added, "Har Koi Salman Khan nahi hota hai."
