Taking to his Instagram Story on Tuesday, he announced that he is stepping away after facing disturbing online harassment. The CID 2 actor revealed that fake bot accounts were allegedly being used to post offensive and hurtful comments about his family, personal life, and himself. Expressing anger and deep emotional distress, he said the situation has been extremely upsetting and difficult to deal with.

He wrote: "I have always been a peaceful and positive guy, focusing on the good but recently, I have noticed someone buying bot accounts and have been commenting rubbish on my family, me and my personal life through those fake accounts. Shocking, extremely hurtful, I am fumed with anger."Parth added that while he believes he knows who may be behind all this, he prefers not to take any names. He further said that rather than staying involved in negativity or filing complaints, he would rather focus his energy on his personal and professional work.Announcing his break from social media, Parth added, "I have decided to take a break from social media for sometime can't drain more energy on complaining to the cyber crime dept... rather... focus on my life and my role as Mahid.
