the Aditya Dhar film sure-shot crossed Rs 1000 crore at worldwide box office on Thursday, after it added an impressive Rs 26 crore net in India. The movie has been a tsunami at the theatres ever since it released on December 5. Dhurandhar also stars R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Danish Pandor, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, Naveen Kaushik, Saumya Tandon and Gaurav Gera. On domestic screens, it is inching towards entering the massive Rs 700-crore club.

Dhurandhar amassed Rs 26 crore on December 25, taking its domestic total to Rs 633.50 crore. This was after the film dipped to Rs 18 crore on Wednesday. But, the holiday of Christmas turned a boon, giving it a major surge.
Dhurandhar has not just surpassed the lifetime collection of director Aditya Dhar's directorial debut
Uri: The Surgical Strike, it has also become the highest grosser for Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dut and Arjun Rampal with a huge margin. Infact, strong competition from new releases like
Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri and James Cameron's
Avatar: Fire And Ash couldn't deter its performance.
The massive Rs 1000 collection worldwide
Interestingly, the last official reported figures confirmed that
Dhurandhar has crossed Rs 960 crore worldwide. This was on Wednesday, and going by its current pace, it will be entering Rs 1000 crore before weekend.
Dhurandhar 2 is set to release on March 19, 2026 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. It will clash with Yash’s pan-India film,
Toxic at the box office on the same date.
