for a new Titan in the Monsterverse. The new teaser of Monarch: Legacy of Monster promises a new monster on the block with Titan X on Kong’s Skull Island. The 10-episode series is returning to Apple TV on February 27, 2026 with its first episode and will continue streaming weekly until May 1, 2026. The cast of the second season features Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Emmy winner Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett and Anders Holm. Monarch Legacy Of Monsters Season 2 teaser shares first glimpse of Titan X
On X (formerly Twitter), Apple TV posted the new teaser stating, "Titan X has awakened. The new season of #Monarch: Legacy of Monsters arrives February 27." The characters now find themselves going up against a new monster that's not Kong or Godzilla after opening a rift to another world. How will they prepare to save themselves from this new Titan X.

The new monster is a the heart of the mystery for Season 2. The press notes for the series call Titan X, "a living cataclysm." It adds, "When its massive bioluminescent form breaks the surface of the ocean, the world seems to hold its breath." New cast members joining the show for Season 2 include Takehiro Hira, Amber Midthunder, Curtiss Cook, Cliff Curtis, Dominique Tipper and Camilo Jiménez Varón. With Chris Black as showrunnerk, the series will "reveal buried secrets that reunite our heroes (and villains) on Kong’s Skull Island, and a new, mysterious village where a mythical Titan rises from the sea. The ripple effects of the past make waves in the present day, blurring the bonds between family, friend and foe — all with the threat of a titan event on the horizon."
