The makers of Athi Manoharam chose the festive occasion of Vishu to unveil the film’s title, surprising fans. Until now, the film was widely known as Mohanlal’s L366, referring to the actor’s film count. Alongside the title, the makers released a striking first-look poster featuring Mohanlal in a police uniform. Set against the backdrop of pilgrims visiting Sabarimala Temple, the picture hints that the film will have devotional elements showing off Mohanlal's charming side as well.
Fans were quick to share love on the poster, praising Mohanlal’s vintage look, complete with a twirled moustache. Athi Manoharam marks Mohanlal’s return to a police role after a four-year gap. His last appearance as a cop was in Monster (2022), where he played Shivdev IPS.
Reunion After Thudarum Success
The film reunites Mohanlal with director Tharun Moorthy after their successful collaboration on Thudarum in 2025. That film’s strong reception has set high expectations for their second outing together.
