How does Rehman Dakait die in Dhurandhar?
Hamza Ali Mazari, an Indian spy in disguise, enters Pakistan and wins the trust of
Rehman Dakait and his henchmen. He feeds the thought of capturing Lyari in his mind. While Jameel Jamali (Rakesh Bedi) comes across as his ally, he becomes Dakait’s nemesis when the political situation heats up. Rehman’s closest alliances are with Major Iqbal, with whom he plans the Mumbai 26/11 attacks. To avenge terrorist activities in India, Hamza strategically spews hatred for Rehman in Jameel’s mind. He marries the shrewd politician’s daughter and wins his confidence. Along with SP Chaudhary (Sanjay Dutt), a notorious encounter specialist, Hamza plans Rehman’s assassination.
Why Hamza kills Rehman Dakait?
Since Rehman trusts Hamza fully, he accompanies him in a car. When he feels something is fishy, the gangster turns suspicious.
Rehman is brutally killed by Hamza, who projects it as an assassination attempt. He takes him to the hospital in an auto rickshaw. However, Dakait is declared dead on arrival. Uzair Baloch (Danish Pandor), Rehman’s cousin, is informed about his death. He becomes the hero and further strengthens his position in the gang.
Hamza's real name
In the end, Hamza opens his secret diary, where he has written down the names of his targets. With an invisible ink pen, he strikes down Rehman’s name. The climax reveals that
Hamza’s real name is Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who is serving a death sentence and has been trained by Ajay Sanyal to lead Operation Dhurandhar.
Dhurandhar Part 2 will release on March 19. The film will also star Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Danish Pandor.
