Aditya
Dhar is in the best-ever phase of his career and appears to be wasting no time after the success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Reportedly, fresh plans are already underway for a new big-ticket project. After delivering the superhit Dhurandhar franchise, Dhar is now setting his sights on another ambitious cinematic outing, potentially reuniting with his Hamza Ali Mazari aka Ranveer Singh. Here's what we know about their next possible collaboration and when it will go on the floor.
Aditya Dhar-Ranveer Singh's next project on the way
According to reports in
Pinkvilla, Dhar has cracked a new idea and is actively developing it into a full-fledged script. The filmmaker is said to be excited about the concept, which is expected to fall in the high-concept, larger-than-life storytelling space that he has increasingly become known for. If all goes as planned, the film is expected to go on floors by March 2027, giving the team ample time for pre-production and casting.
Interestingly, early conversations have already begun with Ranveer Singh, who is currently the frontrunner to headline the project. While nothing has been officially signed yet, it is being said that Dhar is keen on collaborating with the actor again, especially after their previous successful association. Ranveer’s energy and versatility reportedly make him a strong fit for the vision Dhar has in mind. Pairing Aditya Dhar's raw storytelling with Ranveer’s dynamic performance could result in another epic film.At this stage, the project is still in its early development phase, with script work and conceptualisation taking priority. Casting for other roles has not yet begun, and the makers are expected to finalise key elements only after the screenplay is locked. However, the intent to mount the film on a grand scale is already clear. Meanwhile, Ranveer might only begin working on the film after wrapping up Pralay, a Zombie thriller which will also be his debut as a producer.
