Actress Shraddha Kapoor has been busy shooting for Laxman Utekar’s next, tentatively titled Eetha, a biopic on Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar. During the Nashik schedule, the actress reportedly sustained
an injury that resulted in a fracture. According to reports, the mishap has brought the film’s shoot to a temporary halt.Shraddha Kapoor INJURED During Eetha ShootMid-Day quoted an insider as sayinh, “Lavani music characteristically has fast-paced beats and a quick tempo. In this number composed by Ajay-Atul, Shraddha — sporting a vibrant Nauvari saree, heavy jewellery, and a kamarpatta — had to perform a series of steps in succession, to the beats of the dholki. To look the part of a young Vithabai, the actor has put on over 15 kilos. In one step, she mistakenly put all her weight on her left foot, and lost her balance as a result.”The source shared that after returning to Mumbai, the team resumed filming on a set in Madh Island, where Shraddha shot a few emotional scenes. “However, after a couple of days, her pain aggravated and they had to discontinue the shoot. The unit will regroup two weeks later when she has completely recovered.”The actress, who remains active on social media, has not shared a health update with fans yet.About EethaThe Utekar directorial is yet to be officially announced, but reports state that its shoot began on November 1 in Audhewadi. Filming is also scheduled to take place in Solapur, Satara, and Kolhapur.In the biopic, Shraddha plays a legendary Tamasha artiste from Maharashtra. Vithabai, known as the 'Tamasha Samradini,' won the President’s Award in 1957 and 1990 for her contribution to Maharashtra’s folk dance.
