Govinda Rushed To Mumbai Hospital After Losing Consciousness, Actor Under Observation

has been admitted to Mumbai’s CritiCare hospital. The veteran actor was rushed to the hospital after he was found in an unconscious state at his residence. The 61-year-old is currently under medical observation and his vital parameters are being monitored closely by doctors. His friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, confirmed that it was an episode of disorientation.

A source informed, “Govinda fell unconscious and he was taken to CritiCare hospital for further treatment. He is currently under observation.” Following the emergency hospitalisation, Govinda reportedly underwent some tests and an update on his health is awaited from his family members. He visited veteran actor Dharmendra, who has been admitted in a reportedly critical condition. The actor drove to the hospital and refused to engage in a conversation with the media.

In October 2024, Govinda was admitted to CritiCare Hospital after he accidentally shot himself in the leg with his licensed revolver. According to reports, the shooting happened due to a misfire while Govinda was cleaning his revolver. Heavy blood loss was reported. His manager Shashi Sinha had confirmed the news to ANI and said, "Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was getting ready to leave for Kolkata. He was keeping his licensed revolver in the case when it fell from his hand and a bullet got fired which hit his leg. The doctor has removed the bullet and his condition is fine. He is in the hospital right now."While Govinda has been missing from the big screen for quite some time, he featured in one of the episodes of Kajol and Twinkle Khanna's chat show, Two Much, on Prime Video. He was seen with his friend and colleague Chunky Panday. We wish Govinda a speedy recovery.
