The
trailer of Welcome To The Jungle was unveiled on Thursday. The 4-minute and 10-second-long promo was loaded with self-aware digs, meta references and, of course, Majnu Bhai’s iconic horse painting. In one of the scenes, Akshay Kumar was addressed as a ‘flop actor’. This comes at a time when some of his recent movies did not perform as per expectations at the box office. At the trailer launch in Mumbai, Akshay was asked about the ‘flop actor’ dialogue in Welcome To The Jungle. Instead of taking offence, Kumar urged not to take it seriously.

‘flop actor’ fit for him; the actor said it was used in the film’s context and not based on real-life references. “When you watch a movie, I am sure you are a smart person. Whenever you watch a movie, you watch it according to the character of the movie. So, please, thank you for feeling bad about it. But don’t take it so seriously,” he shared.

Welcome To The Jungle introduces the cast. Akshay, also seen dancing to Bhojpuri songs, is termed as a flop actor by Paresh Rawal in the film. The women, who are cast as actresses in the movie, are shown to be insecure about each other. A dig at female actors being cast in films for glamour has been taken pretty smoothly. Welcome To The Jungle promises to be a chaotic, loud and fun watch.
