Mahesh Babu is all geared up to attend the launch of SSMB 29 Globetrotter's first event in Hyderabad on 15 November. SSMB 29, the untitled film directed by SS Rajamouli, has its first mega event which will also see the film maker in attendance. Ahead of it, Mahesh Babu shared a special image on social media in which he fondly remembered his late father actor Krishna.

Sharing a picture of Krishna and a younger version of himself from the sets of a film, the actor penned an emotional note which read "Thinking of you a little more today…and knowing you’d be proud nanna." As per reports, Mahesh Babu is set to play a role of a adventure and thrill seeker. The ambitious film has been in the making since the last two years. Earlier this year, Mahesh Babu posted a message for late father and legendary actor Ghattamaneni Sivarama Krishna on the occasion of his 82nd birth anniversary. Taking to Instagram, Mahesh shared a nostalgic black-and-white photo of his father from his younger days, along with a message: "Always guided by your light. Happy birthday, Nanna! Thinking of you today and every day." Ghattamaneni Krishna, one of the icons of Telugu cinema made his debut with Thene Manasulu in 1965 and went on to star in over 350 films, including iconic titles like Gudachari 116, Mosagallaku Mosagadu, and Alluri Seetharama Raju. The grand event for SS Rajamouli's GlobeTrotter, featuring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is set to take place at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Fans who wish to watch the event live can do so on JioHotstar from 7 PM onwards on November 15 in India. "For months you have been asking and now it's time. On November 15, the world will take its first step into our story.
