Vijay Sethupathi Joins Silambarasan TR In Vetrimaaran's Arasan

On Tuesday, producer Kalaipuli S Thanu took to social media to announce the star's inclusion in the Arasan cast with a special poster. He captioned the post, Manidham inaigiradhu, magathuvam therigiradhu (Humanity connects, greatness displays).The poster featured the text, 'Welcome on board Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi. While Vetri Maaran and Vijay Sethupathi worked together on the Viduthalai franchise, Silambarasan TR and Vijay Sethupathi shared screen space in Mani Ratnam's action film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.

Earlier in June, Vetrimaaran clarified that Arasan in part of the Vada Chennai universe, but not a sequel to his hit film featuring Dhanush in the lead role. It is speculated that Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Andrea Jeremiah and Lover actor Manikandan are also part of Arasan.

Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under V Creations, the film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film's promo, released a month ago, received positive comments from fans, creating anticipation around the film.
