Google and Apple are collaborating to devise a method to transfer data between iPhones and Android phones. As of now, both companies have also started testing the same. The feature is not being released for the masses yet and will be available only for selected users. However, the feature will most probably make a debut for the devices in the next six months. The feature can already be seen in the Android Canary build released by Google today. And the same has been confirmed by the tech giant to 9To5 Google. Early builds of the model show that the two rivals have been partnering to make the setup process feel smoother while moving between ecosystems. In place of relying on independent applications, the latest method will induce the transfer tool
in the initial setup of the device. The reports shed little light on the working of the tool. However, tipster Abhishek Yadav has claimed that the feature will be able to move app data, notification preferences, key system preferences, and app settings directly between iOS and Android. Furthermore, this is just one of the aspects that the next feature is bringing to the table. Also Read: Elon Musk Responds To Google CEO Sundar Pichai's Space Data Centre Plan: Here's What You Need To Know Talking about the current scenario, Google has not confirmed anything regarding the stable release of the version.
