According to a Mid-Day report, Anees will commence work on Ram Aur Shyam early next year. It is reported to be in advanced stages of development. The report further suggests that Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Kartik Aaryan are rumoured to be contenders for the double role.While the title reminds one of the late actor Dilip Kumar's film, insiders reveal that Anees' vision for his film is different. "Anees sir has been toying with this concept for a while. While three of them have packed schedules, Anees also has Shahid Kapoor on mind. "All three actors have a packed schedule. Ranveer starts Don 3 in January, Kartik has Naagzilla. After Ranbir wraps up Love & War, he will dive into Dhoom 4 prep. The other actor on Anees sir’s mind is Shahid Kapoor.
