Korean actress Lee Soo-Bin has announced her marriage through an emotional handwritten letter shared on social media on May 23. Reflecting on her journey, Soo-Bin, who was recently seen in Netflix's The WONDERfools, expressed gratitude for the love and support she received throughout her career. She revealed that she has found someone who stands beside her and encourages her to imagine a shared future, leading her to “promise eternity” with that person. Soo-Bin also thanked fans for supporting both her professional and personal self while promising to continue growing as an actress and individual.

Lee Soo-Bin began her letter on a warm and reflective note, “May, when spring is in full bloom and warm sunlight can be felt,” before looking back on her long career as an actress. She said that she started working at a very young age and has spent most of her life in front of the camera.“Since I was very young, though my memories are now faint, I have thankfully lived as an actress, learning and sharing many stories and emotions through my work,” she wrote. Lee also expressed gratitude to the many people she met throughout her career, saying she received “more love than I deserve” while sharing both laughter and tears with others.
Talking about her personal growth, the actress described herself as a shy person who gradually became stronger due to the support and encouragement she received from fans, colleagues, and loved ones. She explained that portraying different characters over the years allowed her to empathise deeply with people’s lives and imagine their futures “sometimes seriously and sometimes joyfully.”Following this, she finally revealed the reason behind her letter and that was her marriage announcement. Without disclosing the identity of her fiancé, she shared that someone special had entered her life and become her strongest source of support. “For me, a person has come into my life who stands by my side more than anyone else and encourages me to imagine my future together with them,” she wrote. “Now I want to draw a happier life with that person and make a promise of eternity.” The actress said she wanted to personally share the joyful news while thanking everyone who has supported both “actress Lee Soo-Bin and the person Lee Soo-Bin.” She also apologised to acquaintances she may not have informed individually due to the sudden announcement.Reacting to her marriage, fans expressed happiness on X.
