One of the biggest talking points surrounding the project is Pradeep’s reported remuneration.
According to reports, the actor may be charging a staggering Rs 50 crore for the film. This marks a huge jump from his earlier reported fee of around Rs 12–13 crore per film. From earning just Rs 50 lakh during his early days, Pradeep’s journey in films sees a huge jump. He is now among the highest-paid young actors in Kollywood.

Meanwhile, Pradeep Ranganathan is gearing up for the release of Love Insurance Kompany, directed by Vignesh Shivan. The sci-fi romantic drama is scheduled to hit theatres on April 10. Set in the year 2040, the story revolves around a futuristic concept where love can be insured, and relationships are predicted and managed using advanced technology. Apart from Pradeep, SJ Suryah and Krithi Shetty also star in lead roles in LIK. The cast for the film also includes Gouri Kishan, Yogi Babu, Seeman, Shah Ra, Malavika, Mysskin, Anandaraj and Sunil Reddy, among others. The film's music is by Anirudh Ravichander, and it is produced by Nayanthara.
