A source close to the production revealed to Hindustan Times that the shoot has been happening in Delhi for four days now. The Delhi schedule is likely to go on for more than a week from now, featuring Kartik. "The locations filmed so far include Yamuna ghat ka kinara for a key scene, next was Sector 54 in Dwarka. Dilli Haat in Pitampura was also a primary location," the insider added.

The security, we hear further, is extremely tight on the sets of this Mrighdeep Singh Lamba directorial, and no phones are being allowed, too. Naagzilla is slated for a release date of August 14, 2026.

The actor recently wrapped up shooting promotional content at a studio in Mumbai, marking his debut in the creature-comedy genre, according to Pinkvilla. The report also suggests that Kartik is genuinely enthusiastic about embracing this distinctive and captivating character in Naagzilla.

The film is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, known for his witty humor in the Fukrey franchise. Naagzilla will be Lamba's first project outside the Fukrey series. Produced by Mahavir Jain Films and Dharma Productions, this marks the first collaboration between Mahaveer Jain and Karan Johar, with potential plans for multiple future projects.Naagzilla will be Kartik's second film with Karan Johar, following Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. He also reportedly has an untitled film with Chandu Champion director Kabir Khan. He is also involved in a musical romantic drama with Sreeleela and director Anurag Basu, which is currently in the development stage.
