In an interview with NDTV, Shefali Shah recalled how she played the role of a mother to 5-year-old Akshay Kumar. She said, “I usually don't watch my films, so I must have watched it once, right? But if I had to watch Waqt again now, I would die of embarrassment.” When asked if she ever regretted doing such a character, the actress said, “I didn't have the maturity, understanding, or knowledge of cinema that I have today. My way of working changed drastically after I did Delhi Crime. Not only was it a turning point in my career, but it also changed the way I approach my work."
