Yash is celebrating his 40th birthday tomorrow (January 8) with the first tease of his upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. The actor plays the lead and has produced the thriller, directed
by Geetu Mohandas. Ahead of his birthday, Yash issued a statement to his fans, revealing that he wouldn’t be meeting his fans personally due to professional commitments. He promised to celebrate bigger things with them soon. The first tease will be unveiled tomorrow at 10:10 AM on all social platforms. Toxic also stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair.
Why Yash won't meet fans on birthday?
In the statement, Yash wrote, “To my dearest fans, I honestly am deeply aware of how you've been waiting to meet me over the last few years. Trust me, I’ve been longing to see you all just as much. I truly wanted to make it happen this year on my birthday, but I am fully immersed in finishing the film to make sure it's ready for you in theaters on March 19th, 2026. Because of this, I won't be able to meet you in person just yet. Even though we couldn’t make it happen now, I promise to make it up to you. We will meet in a much bigger way, very soon. In the meantime, I will be personally looking through all your wishes and cherishing every bit of the love you send.”
Ahead of Yash’s birthday, fans transformed the Bengaluru Metro into a moving tribute for the
Toxic actor, marking the first-ever metro takeover for a birthday celebration. Pictures and videos went viral on social media.
