Stranger Things Season 5 Vol. 1 has been out since November 26 on Netflix. Actor Joseph Quinn, aka Eddie Munson himself, had to be reminded of the show's premiere. He played Eddie in the previous season

Joseph Quinn on Stranger Things 5 and Gaten Matarazzo
At the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) 2025, Quinn won the Ensemble Performance award with his
Warfare castmates. In an interview with
Flip Your Wig after the ceremony, he was asked about Vol. 1 of
Stranger Things and if he had seen Dustin grieving for his character in the show.
Quinn quipped, "Is it out?" His
Warfare co-star Kit Connor teased, "You should know that."
The Fantastic Four: The First Steps star went on to add, "It's the 26th; it comes out, no?" Later, when reminded the show had been out for a while, he sincerely said, "Yes, he's amazing. I miss Dustin too. I love Gaten Matarazzo." The actor's evasiveness with the question led fans to believe that he was avoiding talking about the show because he didn't want to give anything away.
