recently attended the trailer launch event of his next directorial film, Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar and Tabu in the lead roles. At the launch event, the filmmaker almost fell while climbing the stairs to grace the stage at the Mumbai theatre. A video is currently going viral on social media, in which one can see the veteran director Priyadarshan stumble while climbing the stairs. He immediately managed to hold a nearby pole attached to a poster and escaped a minor fall. Fortunately, nothing major happened ahead of the event.
Priyadarshan’s Oops Moment At Bhooth Bangla Trailer Launch
In the viral video, the filmmaker Priyadarshan is seen coming on the stage in a black kurta and white pyjama. When he started to climb the stairs of the stage, he stumbled and almost fell. He quickly took a support of a poster pole and escaped the fall. The people of the production team also rushed to help the director. Despite facing an oops moment at the trailer launch, Priyadarshan maintained his grace and greeted fans and media after appearing on the stage. The video is going viral on social media, and netizens have now started expressing concern for him.
Coming back to Bhooth Bangla, the trailer of the
Akshay Kumar-starrer has been receiving mixed to positive reactions from the masses. Some netizens are disappointed with the use of old dialogues from some classic Hindi films in Bhooth Bangla. Moreover, Tabu’s appearance in the film is leaving the fans curious to know more about her character in the upcoming horror-comedy film. At the trailer launch, Akshay Kumar hosted the event and revealed some interesting facts about his equations with Priyadarshan, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav and Ekta Kapoor. He revealed that he has known Tabu for 39 years. They would go together for dance classes before entering the movie business. Apart from that, Ekta Kapoor also confessed that Akshay Kumar returned his fee after their first movie collaboration turned out to be a disaster at the box office. For the unversed, Ekta and Akshay had worked together in a film, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara.
