Veteran actor Satish Shah died on October 25 at Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital. The 74-year-old actor, best known for his roles in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Bhoothnath and Main Hoon Na, had
been battling kidney-related complications, he recently underwent a transplant. Director and choreographer Farah Khan, who worked with him in the film Main Hoon Na, shared fond memories of the actor.

In her Instagram stories, Farah Khan shared a picture of Satish Shah, along with the message "Rest in peace dearest Satish.you were a joy to know n work with.will miss u sending me memes n jokes everyday".In the past, Farah Khan shared a hilarious anecdote on Maniesh Paul's Youtube show. She shared a detail from the film’s shooting, particularly the scene where Satish Shah’s character spits on Shah Rukh Khan while yelling at him. She said, “The Shah Rukh Khan and Satish ji scene was very difficult to shoot. We used to make Satish ji drink water and he would spit on Shah Rukh in that scene. We also kept a backlight to show it clearly. Satish Shah and Farah Khan worked together in Main Hoon Na which marked the latter's directorial debut and featured an ensemble cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Sunil Shetty, Amrita Rao, and Zayed Khan. The film emerged as a massive box office success.
In a career spanning more than four decades, Satish Shah became a household name through his roles in both films and television. He gained popularity for his performance in the 1983 satire Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro. His filmography also includes hits like Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Main Hoon Na, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Om Shanti Om showcasing his acting prowess.
