Kim Do-Hoon opens up about his accident

On the sidelines of promoting the new TVING original series, Kim spoke about the mishap. "I’m receiving proper treatment and recovering well. It was an unexpected accident that happened during practice. I actually know how to ride a motorcycle and was being careful, but it was something I couldn’t have imagined," he said, according to Allkpop.On March 24, 2025, reports came in that Kim injured himself while practicing motorcycle scenes for Dear X, suffering a fracture in his left forearm that required hospitalisation and surgery. He was adviced a 24-week recovery period by doctors.

He took a jibe at keeping away from bikes

"Through this experience, I’ve learned to be even more cautious in the future," he added. While Kim assured fans of recovering well, MC Park Kyung-Lim jokingly said, "You came dressed like a biker today." Laughing off, Kim wittily replied, "I came by car today.
