Barjatya’s new Prem is Ayushmann Khurrana. In the upcoming family entertainer titled Yeh Prem Mol Liya, he romances Sharvari. Today, the makers of the film announced its official title and release date. The Sooraj Barjatya directorial will arrive on the big screen in the last quarter of the year. Yeh Prem Mol Liya brings the famous Rajshri character, Prem, to the big screen after 11 years. The film releases in theatres on November 27. According to reports, the final shoot schedule is pending before the film goes for its post-production work. Yeh Prem Mol Liya’s music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya.

What Ayushmann Khurrana said about the family entertainer?

Ayushmann, who steps into the shoes of Prem for Sooraj’s next directorial, shared exclusive details about the film with Zoom. In a previous interview, the actor revealed whether he would return to the rom-com zone like Bareilly Ki Barfi in future. He said, “You will be actually surprised that in Sooraj Barjatya’s film, the world is simpler and softer. Prem is that character who is simple, soft and a green flag. I would like to explore that part again.”

Yeh Prem Mol Liya is produced by Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films. Before the film’s release, Ayushmann and Sharvari have multiple releases. The actor is gearing up for the release of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do co-starring Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Wamiqa Gabbi. The rom-com releases on May 15. Next, he shares the screen with Sara in Akash Kaushik’s Udta Teer, which arrives on September 11. His last film was Thamma in October 2025.

On the other hand, Sharvari will be seen in Main Vaapas Aaunga with Diljit Dosanjh and Vedang Raina. The Imtiaz Ali directorial is scheduled to release on June 12. Following that, she has Alpha with Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol. The spy thriller has locked July 10’s release in theatres. According to reports, she will start shooting for Munjya’s sequel soon. Her last release was Vedaa in 2024.
