During his promotions for the film, the actor went to Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad for the premiere. To everyone’s surprise, the crowd was packed beyond the limit, which created chaos and a stampede. Amid the berserk behaviour from the crowd, a mother (Revathi), aged 35 years old, lost her life, and her 9-year-old son Sri Tej was critically injured. According to TOI City’s interaction with Sri Tej’s father, he revealed that the boy was unable to recognise them with bare improvements. “He mostly just stares, with very little emotion on his face.” He said that he was going through speech therapy, and they hoped for his speedy recovery. The boy was admitted to the ICU for 5 months and was later transferred to the Ramgopalpet rehabilitation facility.After the stampede, the Hyderabad Police registered a complaint raised by the victims’ family against
