Deol-starrer Bandar's teaser was recently released online. The official glimpse gave a sneak peek into star Sameer Mehra's life. After the makers shared it online, Salman Khan, too, posted it from his official Instagram handle. A day after dropping Bandar's teaser on social media, the superstar gave a shout-out to Bobby for his upcoming crime thriller. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the movie is scheduled to release in cinemas on June 5. It will clash with Varun Dhawan's Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. Salman Khan decodes Bandar's title

Salman Khan reposted Bandar's teaser on his Instagram stories and decoded the film's title. According to Salman, the B in Bandar stands for Bobby Deol, while A is aag. "N nahi jaoge toh pachtaoge D for deol ABB sunny deo. A for abhi kya? Aamir khan? R for Race so Race to the cinema to see it," he penned. Take a look at his Instagram story below:

The actor further urged everyone to watch Bobby's movie with friends. On a concluding note, he mentioned that 'bandar karega ab sab ko cinema ke andar'. For the unversed, Deol's film has been written by Abhishek Banerjee and Sudip Sharma. Reportedly based on a real-life event, Bandar also features Sanya Malhotra, Sapna Pabbi and Saba Azad.While the movie is releasing in India next month, it first premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year. Produced by Saffron Magicworks, the film revolves around the life of Sameer Mehra who is in a relationship with a young man. Things take a drastic when his ex-wife Gayatri returns and accuses him of rape.

Bobby Deol, Salman Khan's work front

On the work front, Bobby has couple of exciting projects lined up. The actor will be seen in director H Vinoth's Jana Nayagan. Co-starring Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde, the film is expected to release this year. Apart from that, Bobby has Yash Raj Films' spy thriller Alpha with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari lined up for release on July 10.On the other hand, Salman Khan will next be seen in Apoorva Lakhia's Maatrubhumi with Chitrangada Singh. The makers haven't announced a new release date so far. Post that, the actor will feature in Vamshi Paidpally's SVC63 with Nayanthara. It is set to release in theatres on Eid 2027.
