project. Putting rumours to rest, the actress has opened up her involvement in the project.
Mega 158: Malavika Mohanan Says She Is Not A Part Of Chiranjeevi's Film
Taking to social media, Malavika Mohanan has claimed that she is not a part of the film. In her post she said would love to share screen space with Chiranjeevi, however, the reports of her being a part of the film are false. "Hi guys So there are a lot of reports circulating online that I’m a part of Mega 158 helmed by Bobby sir. While I would love to share the screen with the iconic Chiranjeevi sir at some point in my career, but just wanted to clarify that I’m not a part of this project and the reports are false" read the post.At the moment, Malavika Mohanan is currently set to make her Telugu film debut with Prabhas' the Raja Saab, which will hit screens in January 2026.
Chiranjeevi's film with Bobby Kolli was officially announced on the occasion of Chiranjeevi’s birthday in August this year along with a concept poster. Tentatively known as ChiruBobby2, the film unites Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli who had previously teamed up for Waltair Veerayya, the 2023 action-thriller which became a hox office hit. Bobby Kolli’s previous film Daaku Maharaaj, which starred Nandamuri Balakrishna, released in January this year, also hit the jackpot at the box office.
Meanwhile, Malavika Mohanan recently worked with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in the emotional drama Hridayapoorvam. The film, which released during Onam, a romantic comedy-drama film directed by Sathyan Anthikad from a screenplay by Sonu T P based on a story by Akhil Sathyan. It went on to earn Rs 100 crore at the box office. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor for Aashirvad Cinemas, the film also featured , Sangita Madhavan Nair, and Sangeeth Prathap, along with Siddique, Lalu Alex, Janardhanan, Baburaj, Nishan, and Sabitha Anand in important roles.
