handle, she felt 'honoured' to be working with the late actress, for her 2019 release Kabir Singh.

Veteran actress Kamini Kaushal, regarded as the oldest living actress in India, has sadly passed away at the age of 98. Reports say she had been dealing with age-related health issues.A source close to the family was quoted as saying. “Kamini Kaushal’s family is extremely low profile, and needs privacy.”Kamini was one of the most iconic figures in Indian cinema. She reportedly worked in more than 90 films over her illustrious career. She started her journey with Neecha Nagar, which won the prestigious Palme d'Or (Golden Palm) at the Cannes Film Festival in 1946. She later appeared in several notable films, including Shaheed, Nadiya Ke Paar, Shabnam, Arzoo and Biraj Bahu. Do Bhai, Ziddi, Shabnam, Paras, Namoona, Jhanjar, Aabroo, Bade Sarkar, Jailor, Night Club and Godaan are among her other acclaimed works.Kamini Kaushal is survived by sons Shravan, Vidur and Rahul Sood.
