Music composer Amaal Mallik has been through his share of highs and lows on Bigg Boss 19. Since the beginning of BB 19, Amaal has had heated arguments with a few contestants. At the same time, he bonded
well with Baseer Ali, Tanya Mittal, and other contestants. That said, there have been rumours about Bigg Boss 19 makers being biased towards Amaal. In an exclusive interview with Zoom/ Telly Talk, his aunt Roshaan Garry has reacted to these speculations.
Is Bigg Boss biased towards Amaal Mallik? His aunt reacts
Speaking exclusively to us in Hindi, Amaal's aunt Roshaan opined, "I honestly don’t think they (makers) are biased. I really don’t think that. Because if they were biased, they wouldn’t beep out his words like that. If our kids do something wrong or say something bad, do we go around shouting it to the world? No, right? Biased on what basis?"Watch Roshaan Garry's full interview here:

She further reacted to a scene ft. Amaal that was reportedly edited out. The scene in question is when Amaal cried after he was reportedly scolded by Salman Khan on Weekend Ka Vaar. "If he had cried and if it was shown to the audience, that would've been better, right? He would have gained some sympathy," she added in Hindi.ALSO READ - Bigg Boss 19 Day 71 Written Update: Tanya Mittal Confesses Having 'No' Feelings For Amaal Mallik, Malti Confronts HimThe music composer's aunt also expressed, "Calling Kunickaa’s son in the first week itself seemed biased to me. Calling Gauahar (Khan) and showing her bashing Amaal seemed biased to me. But if they were really biased towards Amaal, then when Gauhar was bashing him, they would’ve edited that out and not shown it. But they showed it because they wanted the entertainment, that whole part of it, you know? There were so many other issues... they basically made Amaal look like a gunda themselves. If they wanted, they could have just edited all that stuff and not shown it. So, I don’t think that happened at any point."
Amaal Mallik's aunt's final thoughts
Summing up her thoughts on these allegations, Roshaan concluded, "Just because Salman sir knows him beforehand, that doesn't mean he’s biased towards him. Because the whole idea of Bigg Boss is pretty simple - entertain, and he is entertaining."Bigg Boss 19 streams on JioHotstar and airs on Colors TV.
