From Bollywood stars to the South film industry, celebrities shared heartfelt wishes with their fans and followers through their social media. Allu Arjun, wishes on X, saying, “Wishing Eid Al-Adha Mubarak to everyone celebrating #Eidmubarak.” This one post from him quickly gained traction with over 6k likes. Veteran actor Kamal Haasan took an even more meaningful approach by wishing his regional fans in Tamil, saying, “My greetings to the Islamic brothers and sisters celebrating the festival of sacrifice, Eid Al-Adha.”
The post in the regional language resonated with the fans, gaining over 54K impressions. Janhvi Kapoor also joined the wish trail with a simple yet warm wish, saying, “#Eidmubarak to everyone.” Accompanying the tweet, she added a festival visual.
Bollywood goes out on Instagram stories
The Instagram stories genre was mainly dominated by the Kapoor clan; however, other celebrities also joined in the celebration through their Instagram stories. Anil Kapoor kept it elegant and crisp with an “Eid Mubarak” text on a cityscape with a crescent moon.
Sonam Kapoor shared a dreamy illustration on her story with “Eid Mubarak” written in a handwriting font. Whereas Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took it a step further and posted “Eid Al-Adha Mubarak” while carefully merging her jewellery brand’s identity with a festive aesthetic.
With a meaningful illustration wishing her followers a more meaningful and deeper message in it, saying, "May your sacrifices be meaningful and your celebration full of grace, love, and blessings that last beyond Eid." Saba Pataudi wished her fans a warm “Have a beautiful, blessed one!” alongside a photo and Eid Mubarak sticker on her story. Joining them was celebrity chef Ranveer Brar with a musical Eid Mubarak story on his Instagram page. Eid Mubarak to all celebrating!
