Marvel actor Tom Hiddleston has welcomed his second child with partner Zawe Ashton. The Loki star confirmed the news in a recent interview with GQ. Though he did not reveal the gender of the child, he shared
how becoming a father again was the "most beautiful, profound, earth-shattering, life-altering" experience. Infact, he revealed that Ashton gave birth shortly before his sister welcomed a baby of her own, bringing added joy to the family. Hiddleston (44) and Ashton (41) are already parents to their firstborn in October 2022. While Hiddleston will reprise his central role of Loki in MCU's upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, Ashton is known for starring in The Marvels (2023) as Darn-Benn.

The couple had revealed the news about Ashton's pregnancy to Vogue on June 7, 2025 ahead of the SXSW London premiere of Hiddleston's film
The Life of Chuck, when Ashton arrived with a baby bump. "I feel really lucky to be working with someone that I know and who’s been such a champion of me at this sensitive red-carpet dressing moment," Ashton told the magazine. "I feel like I’ll be very held on an evening where, as an expectant mother, you can feel a little bit exposed," she added.
When Zawe Ashton hinted at being pregnant
Ashton also hinted at being second-time pregnant with an Instagram post in November this year. "Today, I chose to mark a milestone in postpartum recovery with a trip to one of the @littlevillagehq baby banks, dedicated to supporting families all year round," Ashton wrote in her caption, alongside photos of herself at a local baby bank. "Throughout my recovery, I have thought deeply about the children in our world facing the most devastating living conditions and those tirelessly working to protect them. I’ve reflected deeply on the ongoing war against children, a fight I am fiercely committed to," she wrote.
