Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2, which released on 5 December 2024, has turned one. On the special occasion, Allu Arjun who earned appreciation for his role as a powerful smuggler Pushpa Raj, took to social media
to express gratitude to fans for showring love on the film. He also thanked director Sukumar, the film's team calling it an honour to be a part of it.

Upon release, the film went on to set several box office records, grossing over Rs 1,800 crore worldwide, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024, the second-highest-grossing Telugu film of all time, and the third-highest-grossing Indian film worldwide.A sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021), Pushpa 2 is the second installment in the Pushpa film series. The film stars Allu Arjunlead alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil and Rao Ramesh. It tells the story of a labourer-turned-red sandalwood smuggler, and the threats from his enemies, including SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. The film features music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Mirosław Kuba Brożek, and editing by Naveen Nooli.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is now gearing up for a theatrical release in Japan on January 16, 2026.
