Comedy drama series Only Murders in the building is returning with the finale season. Created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, season 6 will shift to London and have 10 episodes, the update came after

season 5 ended on Tuesday. The series follows three people (played by Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez) in New York City who bond over their shared love for true crime podcasts.

Makers have announced the finale season 6 of Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short's series Only Murders In The Building. The streaming platform Hulu and JioHotstar have shared a combined post with the caption, "Do we deliver or do we deliver? Season 6 is coming soon to @hulu and with #HuluOnDisneyPlus, and we're headed across the pond! #OMITB."The shooting has been shifted from New York, USA to London, UK. This time, the trio of true-crime podcasters leave New York City for the first time, possibly heading to London for a brand-new mystery. Check out the post:

Steve Martin, Selena Gomez talk about the series

In an interview with USA Today, Steve Martin, who co-created and stars in the series, earlier said, “We believe we’re doing another season; we think so. But you have to live season by season. And even if it was canceled tomorrow, we’d have to say, ‘We had a great run.’”Selena Gomez, who plays Mabel Mora, said she wants to keep growing with her character. “I really hope I can keep evolving Mabel as I get older because I want to do this for a long time,” she told Deadline. Hoffman has also said he’ll continue making the show “as long as they’ll have us.” Its five seasons premiered on Hulu in August 2021, June 2022, August 2023, August 2024, and September 2025.
