CBS Studios and Paramount are still said to be high on the project and its underlying IP. Due to the strong fan interest and the enduring popularity of the original film, the project is expected to generate widespread interest in the market as it seeks a new address. Specific details about the show's plot have not been revealed, only that it will begin with Cher's life many years after the events of the iconic film.
