Monday night, several people were injured after a magnitude 7.5 earthquake hit north-eastern Japan leaving thousands to evacuate their homes. The quake occurred at 14:15 GMT about 80km off the coast of the Aomori region, Japan Meteorological Agency revealed. The earth quake prompted tsunami warnings which have now been lifted. This news has led fans of Prabhas concerned as the actor was recently spotted there to promote his film Baahubali The Epic, which was expected to hit theatres on 12 December.

Soon fans took to the comments section to express their happiness, thanking the filmmaker for the update they were waiting for.Prabhas' recent visit to Japan, garnered a lot of attention. He attended the special screening of Baahubali: The Epic, and met fans there. The film has generated additional interest in Japan as it combines both parts of Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion offering a immersive viewing experience.
After the screening, Prabhas spoke to the audience with a warm smile. The humility he displayed touched the hearts of those present. “Many people have told me about Japan over the past 10 years. They have described you as a country with such loving fans. My dream of seeing you in person today has come true," he said with emotion, and the entire hall cheered in excitement. He also said, “Like Lakshmi Garu (Shobu Yarlagadda's wife), I too want to come to Japan every year and meet you."
Meanwhile, Prabhas will soon be seen in The Raja Saab which is scheduled to release worldwide on 9 January 2026, coinciding with Sankranti.
