GTA 6 Will Cost Above Rs 8,000 In India?

Previous rumours related to GTA VI suggested that the game will be launched in the International market for $100 and for around Rs 8,000 in the Indian market, specifically talking about the Standard Edition here. Now, former technical director of Rockstar North, Obbe Vermeij, has said, 'Rockstar haven’t said anything about $100. This is just something that the internet has decided.'He further said, 'I think that they probably won’t do that because, although they haven’t said anything about it either, they will have a GTA VI online component, and they’ll be thinking we want the biggest user base we can possibly have. Rather than trying to cash in that extra $30, I think they’re just going to make it a regular-priced game ($70) and then make the money on the back-end in the years to come.'And yes, this comes as a relief for all the fans because everyone in the gaming fraternity was concerned about the $100 price tag. With the statement from the Rockstar official, we can expect the game to make a debut in the Indian market at a price point of around Rs 5,999 for the Standard Edition.
