Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Ranveer Singh wrote, "From the depths of Arijit Singh's heart…here’s presenting 'Gehra Hua'." Along with this, the actor shared a 30-second teaser where lead actors Ranveer and Sara Arjun are seen taking a long romantic drive through the mountains while ‘Gehra Hua’ plays in the background. For the unversed, The parents of Late Major Mohit Sharma, a decorated Special Forces officer who received the Ashoka Chakra and Sena Medal, have approached the Delhi High Court with serious concerns about the film. The petition has been filed against multiple parties including the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the CBFC, the ADGPI, director Aditya Dhar and Jio Studios. The family has requested a stay on the release and a private screening before the film reaches audiences. According to the family, the movie appears to draw inspiration from Major Mohit Sharma’s real life. The petition argues that a martyr's life cannot be used as a commercial product, stressing, "A martyr is not a commercial commodity." Dhurandhar, also featuring Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, is slated to release on December 5.
