In a recent interaction with Axios’ Mike Allen, the OpenAI CEO indicated that upcoming AI systems would be capable of single-handedly to taken on workloads that need an entire team of engineers, suggesting a major shift in how coding will be done in the future. According to him, the nature of the coding roles has changed significantly in recent times. Developers have already started to rely on writing on AI for coding, fixing errors, and even about how to approach a problem.
