Why Does Archana Puran Singh Regret Declining Film Offers Due To Kapil Sharma Show?

Puran Singh is back in movies. She was recently seen in Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra-starrer Toaster, which released on Netflix on April 15. In a recent interview, Archana revealed that she has rejected many film offers due to her commitment towards Kapil Sharma’s show. But now, she is regretting it. Archana Puran Singh has been getting a lot of love for her performance in Toaster. Hence, after seeing the love from the masses, she now regrets saying no to films for Kapil Sharma’s show which were offered to her in the past.

Archana Puran Singh’s Honest Confession

Archana Puran Singh, in an interview with News18 revealed that she is getting overwhelmed after getting a positive response from the masses. She revealed that she joined The Kapil Sharma Show as a judge in 2019. She kept rejecting film offers during her stint on The Kapil Sharma show. Eventually, people didn’t offer her roles after that. Archana recalled one incident when she was offered a film and was asked to travel to Scotland for 25 years. She had to say no to it because it wasn’t possible for her to leave the shoot of The Kapil Sharma Show. Archana said, “I ended up saying no to a lot of films. And since I’ve said no so many times, people stopped approaching me for acting assignments.”

Now, Archana is very happy with the fact that The Great Indian Kapil Show now runs on Netflix. She further confessed that she got the role in Toaster because of Rajkummar Rao. The duo had earlier worked on the film, Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. They built a colleague-like relationship.
