On Thursday, December 18, the Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain actress took a walk down memory lane, and recalled her very first day on the film’s sets. In a detailed note, Saumya revealed that she and Akshaye 'barely spoke' to each other before their first scene together.

Taking to her official Instyagram handle, she shared a series of behind-the-scenes and penned a heartfelt note dedicated to her co-star. She revealed that the images were from the first scene she shot for the film in Amritsar, set at Rehman Dakait’s haveli. Recalling the moment, she wrote that it was November last year and she was filled with both anticipation and anxiety. Her first shot of the day involved Akshaye Khanna lighting a cigarette while her character silently urges him to seek revenge. Describing him as “pure magic,” Saumya shared that despite barely speaking off-camera, there was an instant connection once the cameras started rolling.
