Veteran actor Satish Shah’s funeral was held today (October 26) in Mumbai. His Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actors, such as Sumeet Raghvan, Rupali Ganguly, Deven Bhojani, Rajesh Thakur and others, attended the last

rites to pay their last respects. In fact, the team got so emotional that they sang Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’s title track as a farewell.

Sarabhai vs Sarabhai team members Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghvan, Deven Bhojani, JD Majethia, Rajesh Kumar and others sang the title track while Satish Shah’s mortal remains were cremated at the crematorium. All of them got teary eyed while bidding adieu to Satish Shah. Sumeet Raghvan shared the moment on social media and wrote, “And one final bye to Indu Sarabhai... We will miss you dad.. Felt as if INDU himself insisted and joined us. #RIP #SatishShah ji I am blessed to have directed you in #sarabhaivssarabhai You’ll live forever in our hearts.” Talking about Satish Shah, the veteran actor died on October 25 due to kidney failure. He was 74 and is survived by his wife, Madhu Shah. His funeral was also attended by Farah Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur, Supriya Pathak, Neil Nitin Mukesh and others. Satish Shah had worked in several films such as Shakti, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and so on.
