One of them is veteran actor Rakesh Bedi, who is back into the limelight after playing the role of Jameel Jamali in Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Recently, in an exclusive interaction with Zoom, Rakesh Bedi opened up about the highlight of the sequel and revealed whether Dhurandhar 3 is on cards or not.

Rakesh Bedi On Dhurandhar 2’s Final Twist

For the unversed, Dhurandhar 2 ends with a big twist that shows Rakesh Bedi’s character Jameel Jamali as the Indian spy in Pakistan. When asked about such a twist that blew everyone’s minds, the veteran actor stated that they thought that a particular twist would create a ripple. Rakesh Bedi said, “It was a highlight for the audience, but for us, it was like just another scene. We knew that it would create a ripple. Since Dhurandhar Part 1 was such a big hit, hence, the audience's perspective to see Dhurandhar Part 2 completely changed. You are not going to see the film and decide how it was.”

“You are going to see a film with the mindset that it is a great film because its prequel was also great. People were not going to watch the second part casually. They were keen to know what happens in part 2. Now, the audience is seeking to watch part 3,” the Dhurandhar actor added.

Will Dhurandhar 3 Be Made In Future?

After Dhurandhar 2, the fans are now demanding the makers make Dhurandhar Part 3. When asked about the demand of the fans, Rakesh Bedi said, “I don't think a third part will happen. But Dhurandhar is a franchise, and it can be made with some other actors at any given point of time. The story ends with the spy going back to his nation.” Dhurandhar 2 has indeed given a boost to Rakesh Bedi’s career. After all, the film has now created history at the box office. Dhurandhar 2 has been directed by Aditya Dhar. The film also features Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Danish Pandor, Sara Arjun, Gaurav Gera, Aditya Uppal, Hirav Mehta, Mustafa Ahmed, Manav Gohil, Bimal Oberoi and others in key roles.
