thoughts and concerns and recently, his name made headlines as Hyderabad's dhaba (food stall/cafe) on his name landed in legal trouble. The owner of Chiranjeevi Dhaba in Nallagandla took to Instagram on Sunday to confirm that he had received a legal notice, but is the actor aware of it?

Chiranjeevi Dhaba Lands In Legal Trouble

The dhaba, opened in April this year, received a legal notice for using the Telugu star's name and likeness. The owner, Ravi Tej, took to Instagram to confirm that he had received a notice. "It’s understandable that he might not have been aware of it earlier, but we firmly believed that once he knew the truth, he would respond positively, and our belief proved absolutely right," he said, claiming that they met Chiranjeevi’s team to sort out the issue.

He also stated that they received Chiranjeevi’s consent to run the restaurant with his name. Tej thanked the veteran actor for understanding and allowing them to run the restaurant in his name while concluding the video clip. The development comes shortly after the Hyderabad Civil Court passed an order safeguarding the superstar’s personality rights.

Chiranjeevi Approaches Civil Court For Protection

Earlier, Chiranjeevi approached the Hyderabad Civil Court seeking protection for his personality and publicity rights. The court granted an ad-interim injunction preventing individuals or entities from using his name, image, voice, or likeness for commercial purposes without his consent. Chiranjeevi is regarded as one of Indian cinema’s greatest legends, a cultural icon who has redefined stardom through his versatility, charisma, and mass appeal across generations. The actor has Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, Vishwambhara, and two untitled projects directed by Srikanth Odela and Bobby in his pipeline.
