TRP Race Week 5: Anupamaa Snatches Top Spot From KSBKBT 2; Mr And Mrs Parshuram Makes Grand Entry

television rating point, aka TRP, is the result of every daily soap maker’s hard work. The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) always shares the list of top 10 shows every Thursday on the basis of their TRP ratings. In week 5, a big change was seen on the list. Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa finally dethroned Smriti Irani’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 from the top position. Apart from that, Neil Bhatt’s new show, Mr And Mrs Parashuram, has made a grand entry into the top 10 list in its launch week. Let’s have a look at the top 10 shows of week 5.

Anupamaa – 2.2

Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa has finally got its number 1 position back after many weeks. It has dethroned Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 from the top position. The Rajan Shahi-produced show has minted 2.2 ratings, all thanks to its ongoing track.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 – 2.1

Ektaa Kapoor’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’s ratings dropped in the fifth week. The Smriti Irani show slipped to second position due to its 2.1 ratings. After seeing the ongoing plot to reconcile Mihir and Tulsi together, the show is expected to make a strong comeback next week.

Naagin 7 – 1.9

Naagin 7 starring Priyanka Chahar Choudhary’s ratings have also dropped miserably. It has garnered 1.9 ratings this week. It looks like the introduction of new characters is being disliked by the viewers.

Vasudha – 1.9

Zee TV’s show, Vasudha has taken a big jump on week 5. The show has minted 1.9 ratings and secured the fourth spot. Starring Parineeta Borthakur, Abhishek Sharma and Priya Thakur in the lead roles, Vasudha has managed to win the hearts of the masses due to its ongoing plot.

Tumm Se Tumm Tak – 1.8

Sharad Kelkar’s Tumm Se Tumm Tak is staying strong in the fifth position. However, the numbers have dropped badly this week. It has minted 1.8 ratings. It looks like the makers need to bring a twist to keep the audience engaged in the show.

Ganga Maai Ki Betiyaan – 1.8

Amandeep Sidhu and Sheezan Khan’s Ganga Maai Ki Betiyaan is improving with each passing day. The show has earned 1.8 ratings and secured the sixth position on the list.

Laughter Chefs 3 – 1.8

Celebrity cooking reality show, Laughter Chefs 3, has slipped to the seventh position this week. Earlier it was in top 5 but this time, it garnered only 1.8 ratings. The audience wants more fun elements from Laughter Chefs 3.

Udne Ki Aasha – 1.7

Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora’s Udne Ki Aasha is not having a good run on the small screen. The Star Plus show has minted 1.7 ratings and secured the eighth position in week 5.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai – 1.7

Yet another leap in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai didn’t help the show on week 5. It is still there in the ninth position and garnered 1.7 ratings. It looks like the Rajan Shahi-produced show has lost its spark.

Mr And Mrs Parshuram – 1.6

Star Plus’ brand new show, Mr And Mrs Parshuram, starring Neil Bhatt in the lead role, has made a grand entry into the top 10 list. The show has minted 1.6 ratings in its launch week. It would be interesting to see its performance in the coming week.
