Bhoot Bangla: Tabu On Reuniting With Akshay Kumar After 25 Years, Says Co-Star 'Still The Same'

In a recent interview, Bollywood actress Tabu has spoken at length about co-star Akshay Kumar and her thoughts while reuniting with him after 25 years for upcoming film Bhoot Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan.

She has expressed, 'His humour and energy are the same. He still wakes up at 4 am.'

During a candid conversation with ETimes, Tabu mentioned, "His humour and energy are the same. He still wakes up at 4 am, finishes early, and heads home, which is a very good thing for the rest of us. He always says, ‘jaldi sona chahiye,’ and reminds everyone he doesn’t go to parties. That part of him hasn’t changed at all. I hadn’t worked with Akshay after Hera Pheri, and we hadn’t even met socially very often over the years. I had stayed in touch with Priyan, so I knew he would be exactly the same person."

For the unversed, Bollywood's iconic duo Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan are coming back after a wait of 14 years. The super-hit jodi, known for cult classics like Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, have joined hands for horror comedy Bhoot Bangla. The announcement was shared by the actor today, on the occasion of his 57th birthday on September 9 this year. Bhoot Bangla will reportedly release next year. It will go on the floors soon.
