Police quickly questioned the woman,
alleging that she had mental health issues. The woman had been staging a sit-in protest at the Collectorate over a prior unresolved complaint. Officials noted that she had previously been involved in creating troubles near the Collector’s office and court premises.
Following the incident, she was taken to the Tiruppur South Police Station for further investigation.
