For those unaware,
O'Romeo is clearly leading the box office game amid clash with Adarsh and Shanaya's
Tu Yaa Main. Talking about the film, it is rumoured to be based on Hussain Zaidi's book
Mafia Queens of Mumbai. In this film, Shahid essays the
character of Ustara while Triptii is seen as Afshan.Besides the lead actors, the supporting star cast includes Farida Jalal, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Vikrant Massey, Tamannaah Bhatia, and others. Avinash is the main antagonist Jalal in the romantic thriller.

Meanwhile, in an interview with
Hindustan Times, Shahid admitted that toughest part of filming
O'Romeo was the physical aspect. "The toughest real estate in this film was actually my body," he revealed. The Bollywood actor added that his body was covered in tattoos and it would take two and a half hours to put them on before he would reach the set.
He further described his character as someone who is dark yet soft and can also be funny. "He’s a complete
laundiya baaz, yet falls in love to a degree that he loses himself," added Shahid.
