Aaryan has an exciting lineup of films for 2025-26. The actor, last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, is set to play a shape-shifting serpent in Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain’s upcoming creature comedy-drama, Naagzilla: Naag Lok Ka Pehla Kaand . As per sources, Kartik wrapped up the film’s poster shoot today, with principal shooting scheduled to begin on November 1.

Official Announcement and Release Date

As per Pinkvilla sources, Kartik Aaryan did a photoshoot today in a Mumbai studio, marking the start of his creature-comedy journey. A source close to the project revealed that filming will roll from November 1. The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor expressed excitement about his unique role in Naagzilla. Officially announced in April 2025, Naagzilla is slated to hit theaters on August 14, 2026, coinciding with Independence Day weekend and Naag Panchami. About the film Nagzilla

The film is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, known for his witty humor in the Fukrey franchise. Naagzilla will be Lamba’s first project outside the Fukrey series. Reports suggest the film could potentially become a franchise depending on audience reception.Produced by Mahavir Jain Films and Dharma Productions, this marks the first collaboration between Mahaveer Jain and Karan Johar, with potential plans for multiple future projects. While the complete cast is yet to be officially confirmed, reports suggest Ravi Kishan has joined the ensemble.Naagzilla will be Kartik’s second film with Karan Johar, following Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.

Kartik Aaryan’s work front

Kartik’s immediate next release is Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, co-starring Ananya Panday. He is also working on a musical romantic drama with Sreeleela, directed by Anurag Basu. Additionally, he has two more projects lined up with directors Shimit Amin (Chak De India) and Vishnuvardhan (Shershaah).
