Hanumankind
has been making waves with his music and his growing global presence has now reportedly caught the attention of one of the biggest music companies in the world, HYBE, the South Korean entertainment powerhouse behind BTS. According to a latest report, HYBE has shown interest in a possible collaboration with the Kerala-born rapper, following a series of events that set the internet on fire. While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, the developments have sent fans of both Hanumankind and BTS into a frenzy.
How Did The Speculation Start And What We Know?
It all began when Hanumankind was spotted attending the BTS concert in Seoul. Videos of him interacting directly with HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk quickly went viral. He also shared a picture of himself holding the BTS ARMY lightstick, which only added more fuel to the speculation. As reported by India Today, HYBE is indeed interested in exploring a collaboration with Hanumankind, particularly with its newer groups including CORTIS and LE SSERAFIM. The report added that HYBE recently held a meet-and-greet with Hanumankind, alongside executives from Source Music and BigHit Music. A proposal for a possible future collaboration was discussed, though things are described as being at a very early stage.
HYBE, when approached, said they were 'not able to provide any comments at this time'. So while nothing is confirmed, the meeting itself signals serious interest.Adding to the intrigue was the presence of BookMyShow founder Ashish Hemrajani alongside HYBE staff at the gathering. This also led to speculation that an announcement of a BTS concert in India could be coming sooner than expected.HYBE is already expanding its footprint in India, having recently launched a nationwide
girl group audition, accepting applications from women born between 2005 and 2011.
