Upasana Konidela's advice to freeze eggs
Previously, Upasana spoke about
freezing her eggs at the age of 29. At an IIT-Hyderabad event, she suggested that egg freezing gives women the freedom to choose when to marry and have children, allowing them to focus on career and financial independence first. Her statement was viewed as tone-deaf. However, she then clarified that, “That's not privilege, it's my right.” Calling it a ‘personal health decision’, she defended her point of view.
